12. IRFA Distribution Request – Accrediated Educational Events

Where an IRFA member would like us to share to our contact list an invitation to an educational event they are hosting, the following criteria need to be met and Board approval needs to be obtained:

The IRFA Office needs to confirm that all membership fees have been paid up and that the member is in good standing.

The event has to be of an educational nature and accredited by an organisation recognised by SAQA (e.g. Batseta, FPI).

The event has to include IRFA branding.

The event attendance has to be free and adhere to the requirements of Pension Funds Act PF Directive 8 of 2018.

The member must participate in the annual IRFA conference. For corporate/professional members that would mean a minimum of an exhibition space and or sponsorship and for retirement fund members would be required to attend the conference.

13. Community Advertisement

IRFA members in good standing can request that we share community advertisements or general notices with our stakeholders, certain criteria need to be met and Board approval needs to be obtained.
Being an IRFA Member

We offer opportunities for you and your organization to learn more about the pensions industry, keep up to date with local and international developments and influence pensions fund outcomes.
Who qualifies for membership?
Any organisation or person who is actively involved in the retirement industry may apply for membership.
