The Challenge

Communication between a trustee of a Retirement/Pension Fund and his/her member is of paramount importance.

Minimum disclosure obligations are placed on trustees in terms of PF 86 and 90; however the communications challenge seeks to explore and encourage communication beyond just minimum disclosures.

The Communications Challenge looks at a Fund’s communication with its members; thus the content is looked at as well as the aesthetic aspects of communication. A fund might have the most thorough and crucial information to present to a member but is the member actually receiving that information?

The Communications Challenge aims to bridge the gap between the content of the communication by funds to its members and the techiniques used in achieving this goal.

Winners would be annouced at the IRF ANNUAL CONFERENCE
