May 20 2011

INVESTMENT WORKSHOP

Impacting on the way we Save and Invest

The growth and development in the investment market locally and internationally has sent a signal of investment legislation review. The new Regulation 28 comes a long way in achieving this.  One of the significant objectives of the new Regulation 28 is to force diversification by limiting a Pension Fund exposure per asset class and issuer. This workshop is designed to deal with the impacts of the new Regulation 28 on funds and investors. The new Regulation 28 has been finalized and gazette and will come into effect on the 1st of July 2011. It is vital that you familiarize yourself with the legislation.

The IRF Workshop will give delegates insight on:

Brief background of Regulation 28
An overview of the new Regulation 28
Why is it important to protect retirement fund benefits through such Regulation
What is the impact of Regulation 28 on retirement investments?
